Why is lymphatic drainage

important?

The cardiovascular system helps to circulate blood in the body via the heart's pumping mechanism. On the other hand, the lymphatic system doesn't have a "pump". Instead, it depends on movements and muscle contractions to move the lymph fluid.

Caring for your lymphatic system will reward your life. Conversely, a compromised lymphatic system causes the body to be more susceptible to sickness and infection, and prolonged neglect can result in various undesirable conditions.

Lymphatic drainage helps your body to:

  • Drain toxins from the body (“detox”)

  • Clear metabolic waste products from tissue and cells

  • Ensure the smooth circulation of B cells and T cells, achieving a better immune system

  • Regulate fluid in the body

  • Achieve optimal lymph flow
